Book – The Amazing Alphabet Book of the Last Dodo Bird

The Amazing Alphabet Book of the Last Dodo Bird is a work of educational writing and charming non-fiction for young people and was created and illustrated by artist Maggy-Pierre Pelissier with text from author Cecile Gabriele Gregoire. Filled with surreal and spectacular images of animals verging on extinction (much like the titular dodo figure), this is a work which middle-grade readers and upwards can treasure, and one which will be sure to stick in their minds. The work promotes animal education, the love of art and discovery, as well as teaching some beautiful new vocabulary words for keen readers and toying with rhyme and pace in its lyrical storytelling.
