Wiley Wants to Win (Children’s Book)

“Wiley Want to Win” is written and illustrated by local Alaskan and teen author, Ellen Redington. Wiley is a real sled dog that still runs with and is adored by Ellen and her team. This is a story about a young sled dog figuring out how to be part of a team. This book is geared toward kindergarten through 3rd grade reading levels.
Ellen with Wiley have competed in the Jr. Iditarod three times, the Goose Bay 150, and other sled dog races in Alaska. Ellen will be entering her senior year in high school in the fall of 2023. Wiley, North, Sweets and the rest of the team are looking forward to Ellen’s fourth and final Jr. Iditarod in February 2024.
